1st attempt of Waterfall shot

I took this one in palolo, right at the Academical Forest of University where I'm working now. It's not really a waterfall, more like a creek, but it worth to try ^^

This is not the best part of the waterfall, but since I was with a 3 years old kid, so I could only reach this part.
It's not an easy job to take waterfall shot, it's hard >.<

Waterdrop

Fiuh, I just read in the forum about the way to shot water droplet... I'm just not so very clear about the lens, and I end up using any lens I get. And from I don't know how many shots done*, I only managed to get this one, which is not even close to the result I want. >.<

Night shot!

I was enjoying the night with a friend while trying to capture some beautiful view, and look what I got...
The pic above, I was trying to shot the city light from the seaside, but I lost it, and ended with the light bias... But somehow I love it!

This ferry is one of a choice to enjoy your dinner. You'll have a night view and fill in your stomach in one time, but don't ask me about the flavor, I haven't tried it once.

And the last pic is the bridge in town. It'll be more beautiful when you see it at night, of course, it's the light. Enjoy it ^^

Bad Cocoa

Just read about the rule of thirds. Seems I just broke it again. What should I do with the pic?

The fireworks

This was the first time I took fireworks, and I didn't really know how to work with shutter speed. So you can see the result ^^

The Ironi

It's about the picture's story. The ironi of the shepherd.

The birthday

Love the focus, but less blurred for the background.

Combining

This one taken as a result of book reading... The background picture isn't mine, It's from the book I bouught. Hihihi, but didn't work it seems... Can anyone give advice?
A basic one, but never really succeed to take the best one. How about this one? Didn't work too much on this.

Stem of betel

This is a seat made of stem of betel. It looks better because the shot was taken after the rain. The detail of the stems which I love the most.

Sunrise in Sidoan

The sunlight fell on the boat makes the color looks great. That's what I think.

The grass of Kampoeng Nelayan

Got added the contrast and level. So it's a little bit far then the original one... Especially the sharpness...

Love biscuit!

I've added the sharpness of this pictures. Not too much.

My Aunty and My Nephew

This is one of the angle I love the most in taking pics. Closing up the object when people are the objects.

The empty beach house!

I took this pic at Kampung Nelayan, Palu. It's an empty house, left by the owner... Hope it's the right angle one...

White egret?

I took this picture when I was in my Grandma's hometown...
I've edited this picture by adding the contrast... But I regretted that this pic isn't too sharp. Zannen~ >.<

Do it as a hobby ^^

Yo...
I'm Fika, going to reach my thirty at the end of this year..
Lately I'm interested in photography... Not quite lately actually,... If I need to look back, I've had this interest since long time before, but it was limited to admiring beautiful pictures...

Once when I was still at Bandung, I bought two books contained with pictures, sorry, I can't remember the name of the photographers, I'll check the book again later. That was I thought about taking pictures, but still I owned no camera that time, even a pocket one. And my interest got bigger when I met friends who love taking pictures, too. But how fool I was, I didn't even go to get something from them... Still, the reason was equipment. AH, I remember, I took some pictures that time but I only used my SonnEr handphone camera.

When I moved to Depok, I met some friends  who's taking pictures, too... And thanks to my Sister, she gave me a pocket digital camera that she bought in Australia, I started to take pictures. But still, with no one who guide me that time.

When finally I moved back to my hometown, I often go out with my senior high school mate, Uni, and one day she decided to buy camera for the beginner, Canon 1000D, for business purpose. But I end up use the camera to learn. We do it together of course ^^

So now, I make this blog to post my pictures... Please help me critic them and tell me what to do with the pictures ^^
